However, recent complaints from a young attendee have overshadowed the event's intended positive publicity, raising questions about promises made during the gathering.

He claims, however, that despite the photo op, he was never given the motorbike as promised.
Kamau, accompanied by two friends, posted a video on social media expressing his frustration.
In the video, Kamau alleged that he had been "used" and lamented that all he had received was rice, beans, and soda during the event.
The controversy has taken a new turn with Kamau naming Lang'ata MP Phelix Odiwuor, alias Jalang'o, and nominated Senator Karen Nyamu, both of whom are known to be supportive of President Ruto.
"I want to tell Jalang’o and Karen Nyamu, you won’t use me badly. President William Ruto, I know I was given a motorbike. Please give me my motorbike... I was just photographed with it, but I was never given one," Kamau said in the video, addressing the two political figures.

Kamau has urged the leaders to help him obtain the motorbike he believes was promised during the event.
"I’m ready to die. I went to the State House, and they photographed me with a motorbike. I wasn’t given anything. What I enjoyed there was rice, beans, and soda," Kamau continued, expressing his discontent.
In the video, Kamau’s friend, TikTok personality Mr Kede, advised him to avoid involving Jalang’o and Karen Nyamu, urging him to direct his grievance to President Ruto instead.
"Stop calling Jalang’o's name; he didn't call anyone to the State House. Address President Ruto and not the two," Mr Kede said, attempting to steer the conversation away from the two political figures.
Despite Mr Kede's suggestion, Kamau remained firm in his message.
"Please, President Ruto, I was photographed with a motorbike, but I wasn't given one," Kamau concluded.
