Mary Biketi, the girlfriend of Cooperatives and MSMEs CS Wycliffe Oparanya, has strongly dismissed claims that she was dumped and is broke.

Oparanya, who has two wives besides Biketi, had not been seen with her for some time, raising questions around their relationship.
What sparked rumours Biketi and Oparanya separated?
The rumour mill started rolling after blogger Edgar Obare hosted one of his popular anonymous Q&A sessions on Instagram.

During the session, a fan alleged that Biketi and Oparanya ended their relationship in mid-2024 and that she has since been faking her lifestyle while using his name for attention.
The anonymous user went as far as claiming that Oparanya had cut off all communication with Biketi, leaving her financially strained.
Another follower alleged that she had moved from her high-end residence in Kileleshwa to Syokimau or Mlolongo, insinuating that her fortunes had drastically changed.
Did Oparanya dump Biketi?
The claims quickly spread across social media, drawing mixed reactions and prompting Biketi to break her silence.
In a fiery response, she rubbished the gossip and cautioned people against spreading falsehoods.
“Someone remind those two that I still reside in a beautiful leafy estate. I honestly can’t recall the last time when I was in the areas they are talking about. While I am busy on real projects in Trans Nzoia, they choose to focus on gossip and misinformation. It is unfortunate, do better,” she wrote.
Her statement appeared to dismiss both the breakup rumours and claims that she was financially struggling, insisting that she remains comfortable and focused on her projects.

Why did Oparanya take Mary Biketi as his girlfriend?
Biketi is never shy of speaking about her relationship with the CS, and not so long ago, she revealed they met at Wilson Airport and sat together on the flight to Kisumu and from there, they started dating.
The polygamous politician in a previous interview revealed that he was content with his two wives, Priscillah and Caroline and one girlfriend, Biketi.
He revealed that his wives stayed in different places, Butere and Likuyani, and were too occupied, hence why he needed a girlfriend.
"After politics, you need someone to keep you busy. My wife (one of them)lives here. She cannot accompany me everywhere, and sometimes you just need to relax with a beautiful lady around you. That is why I have her," he said.
The last time she posted about the veteran politician was in March on his birthday. She penned a romantic message to him, accompanied by a lovely clip.
Biketi described Oparanya as a wonderful man.
Speaking exclusively to TUKO.co.ke, relationship counsellor Josephine Wanjiru observed that such arrangements are often shaped by both emotional and social factors.
She explained that powerful men in politics sometimes feel compelled to balance their demanding public roles with companionship outside traditional marriage structures.
“From my experience, politicians like Oparanya often seek partners who bring them comfort away from the pressures of public life. He may genuinely value Mary Biketi’s companionship, not just as a partner but as someone who provides emotional ease and social presence where his wives cannot always be available,” she told TUKO.co.ke.
Did Mary Biketi lose her pregnancy?
In a separate revelation, the politician’s lover previously disclosed that she lost her unborn child five months into her term in 2024.
She explained that the stress that followed after her photos with the politician surfaced online played a role in the loss.
Biketi, who was deeply heartbroken by the experience, expressed gratitude to her friends for standing by her during that difficult period.
