The Bongo star vented out over the viral tiff between Diamond's friend, Baba Levo and his ex-signee at WCB, Mbosso.

What did Baba Levo tell Mbosso?

Baba Levo had openly stated that Diamond should have 50% of the credit for Mbosso's popular song "Pawa," even going so far as to remark, "Tupe melodi yetu."

In a lengthy statement on his Instagram stories, Diamond called out Mbosso and Baba Levo.

Diamond explained that instead of taking the drama to Instagram, he had reached out to Mbosso directly, attempting to resolve things with wisdom and clarity.

He claimed that he had spoken to Mbosso and shown him evidence of how Baba Levo’s actions were bad.

“I didn’t want this to go to social media. I called you, I sent you messages, and when we met, I spoke to you with wisdom. I even showed you proof that Baba Levo’s actions weren’t helpful to me. All it did was bring me negativity," Diamond started.

Diamond further stated that he had tried to explain to Mbosso that when an artiste leaves a record label, it’s normal for people to react differently.

According to Diamond, some reactions may express love, while others may show frustration or disappointment.

“I told you that when an artiste leaves a label, not everyone will react the same way. Some might be hurt, but they still care. I asked you to promise me that you would act wisely, because if you’re not careful, you will start thinking that everyone is against you because of me, and before you know it, you’ll have unnecessary fights with me," Diamond explained.

He also shared a personal story from when Mbosso had a similar reaction to Rayvanny’s departure from WCB.

Diamond recalled how Mbosso had come to his house, venting about Rayvanny’s departure.

He claimed Mbosso even advised him not to work with Rayvanny on the song "Nitongoze."

In his words:

“You came to my house angry, saying all kinds of things about Rayvanny. You even told me not to work with him, not even on ‘Nitongoze.’ But I told you, no, that’s not how we do things. An artist leaving a label doesn’t mean there’s any bad blood. It’s a normal part of life. One day, even you will leave the label and start your journey.”

Was Mbosso's heart condition cured?

As previously reported, Mbosso was born with a heart condition that causes pain and uncontrollable twitching.

The artiste went for treatment courtesy of President Samia Suluhu and a musicians' organisation.

In February, he announced he had been healed.
