Karangu Muraya Breaks Down after Audio with Triza Leaks, Explains Why He Recorded

Philanthropist and influencer Karangu Muraya has broken down while explaining the reasons he recorded Triza Njeri while in distress.

Karangu, during a Facebook livestream, revealed that he and Triza, at the time, had frequent disagreements, and his daughter was just two months old.
He also disclosed that he had a daughter out of wedlock and started supporting her financially at the time.
Triza was against this move, which caused frequent arguments.

"That audio that has been leaked was from when my daughter was less than 2 months old. There is a child of mine in Murang'a whom I started helping at that time. We used to disagree with my wife a lot," he said.
Why does Karangu record conversations?
Karangu said that he had a neighbour whom he used to confide in, and the man advised him to record the moments.
He admitted that he was the one who recorded the conversation, adding that Triza also had a copy.
Karangu said:
"I used to call an old man who was my neighbour at the time because he could listen to me, and I'd tell him about how my wife and I were having differences from when I started helping that girl. In fact, I am very sorry that someone could leak that audio because it was never supposed to be leaked. That man told me' God forbid your wife goes and kills herself or even your daughter, I would spend the rest of my life in prison and I would never have any evidence of what truly happened.'"
The philanthropist was shocked that someone would leak such a private recording.

He said he recorded it because of the battles he had faced, and sometimes feels he might sleep and never wake up, so he wanted people to know he never wronged anyone.
"I was the one who recorded it and I know mama Muraya also has it but the point is, that audio was never supposed to be leaked for my kids to hear. I recorded because the battles I have fought I usually feel like one day I might sleep and not wake up and I would like people to know that I never did any wrong to anyone. The way that audio has reached those who have leaked it, I do not know because it is not even recent," he added.
Who leaked Triza's recording?
In other news, Triza accused her co-wife, Carol Kim, of leaking the audio.
The recording was leaked just days after Karangu shared adorable pictures with his kids while on a staycation in Naivasha.
Kenyans hailed the philanthropist for being a present and loving father to his kids.
