Is Njoroge Kururia a deadbeat dad?
A woman claimed that she is his baby mama, and he does not provide. The anonymous messages help protect the identity of the people sending the 'tea.'
"I have a child with Kururia MP, and he does not help me," she wrote.
Kururia took to his Facebook page to blast the lady, questioning whether women give birth to leverage financial support from the men.
"Ooh, mnazaanga na wanaume ndio msaidiwe? ("Oh, you have kids with men so they can provide for you?)."

He questioned whether he was to help the child or the mother. He rhetorically asked whether he was the lady's father to help her.
"So juu nimezaa na wewe, nimekuwa babako ndio nikusaidie? ama mimi ni baba mtoto? (Just because I have a child am I your father to give you financial help or am I the father of the child? )."
Kururia distastefully asked the woman to take the kid to a children's home if she was tired of taking care of the child.
He also gave her the option of putting out a paybill.
“If you can’t take care of mine, take him to a children’s home or give him to women who don’t have kids. Or set up a paybill and let the whole country contribute.”
