Pastor Victor Kanyari has warmed hearts online after extending a generous hand to popular TikToker Manzi wa Mombasa and her young son, baby Chira.

The preacher, who has often been a subject of scrutiny, has in recent times taken on the role of a philanthropist, surprising many with acts of kindness to those in need.
How did Pastor Kanyari help Manzi wa Mombasa?
In an exclusive interview with TUKO.co.ke, Manzi revealed that she had been going through difficult times before deciding to attend Pastor Kanyari’s church service.
“I went to Pastor Kanyari's church at a time when I had been locked out of my house. I had even faked that I had cancer. I explained my troubles to him, and he told me that he would give me cash to sort out my rent. He also told me that any time I will ever need help, I can call him. It was not planned, I just woke up and remembered Pastor Kanyari helps people. Asante sana daddy,” she shared.
Deeply touched by her testimony, Pastor Kanyari gifted her KSh 50,000 to help support baby Chira, who was named after the late TikToker Brian Chira in his memory.
Manzi also revealed that since her son’s birth, she had never dedicated him in church, so she used the opportunity to take him before God.
“Because I had never taken my son to church, Pastor Kanyari also prayed for him and blessed him,” she added.
Kanyari explained his reason for stepping in to help, saying:
“This lady has really suffered on TikTok struggling but people laugh at her to the point that she faked to have cancer. Just because she decided to come to this church, we are going to hold her hand until she becomes successful.”

How did Pastor Kanyari honour Brian Chira’s memory?
During the same service, the preacher also honoured the late TikToker Chira in a special way.
An audio clip of Chira speaking in his witty, signature voice was played for the congregation.
“People saw him and loved him because he had visibility. Through that, they even helped his grandmother. I prayed for the church that God gives them visibility and gives them the right audience to help them achieve their dreams,” Kanyari said.
TikToker Kawira, who first brought the story to TUKO.co.ke, expressed her joy at Pastor Kanyari’s kind deeds.
“I’m so happy seeing Kanyari honouring Chira this way and also standing with Manzi wa Mombasa. It shows us that churches can be a place of restoration and love. He is a good man. Barikiwa sana daddy,” she said.

Did Pastor Kanyari give Kawira a gift on Valentine's Day?
Elsewhere, Pastor Kanyari dismissed claims that he gave Kawira money on Valentine’s Day.
Kawira had alleged that the preacher sent her KSh 200,000 to spoil herself and even praised him as a wonderful daddy.
Kanyari also made it clear that he has no plans of being romantically involved with her and that she is just a good friend.
