Following the leak, some of Karangu’s friends publicly offered advice on how he should handle his turbulent polygamous marriage, which has largely played out online throughout 2025.

What did Kururia advise Karangu?

Kururia took to social media with a lengthy post, urging Karangu to stand firm as a man.

He wrote:

"A man is always a man and will never be a woman. We as men, stand with Karangu Muraya. Men are always right when they follow their own hearts. Men don’t follow the hearts of the public, family, or clergy; they follow their own hearts, which are the hearts of God. You cannot force a man into an environment he doesn’t feel comfortable, happy, respected, or bored."

The lawmaker also cautioned Karangu against airing his personal issues online.

"It's wrong to discuss personal and family issues online. Online makes you share and discuss your affairs with people who have more problems than you. Most people commenting are sidechics, singles, cheaters who have not solved their problems first. Sumbua watu vichwa kabisa. You are a man. Men power," he added.

"He should man up !! People divorce and co parent without drama. But a sidechick who has no respect to your children and former partner is a very dangerous person to stay with near you. It cant be tea every week from that family. He should resolve his issues privately."
