Actress and model Trisha Khalid has expressed her frustration after her electricity bill skyrocketed to an unexpected and unexplained amount.

Taking to social media, the actress shared her shock with fans.
Why did Trisha Khalid vent about KPLC?
She revealed that her usual electricity bill of KSh 8,000 had surged to a staggering KSh 54,000 in just one month.
In a video, Khalid questioned the reasoning behind the hike.
The beautiful model stated that she doesn’t use KPLC tokens and has always kept her energy consumption in check.
"This KPLC bill is disturbing my mind. What is this? They gave me a number to call. They explained to me that something had happened. There was an issue with the meter, but I know it's a game. They thought we wouldn't detect. My electricity bill shot from the normal KSh 8,000 to KSh 54,00 in a month. Where does this happen? Let's be honest. I don't use tokens. From KSh 8,000 to KSh 54,000, and they still question my household equipment," she said in a video.

Elsewhere, newscaster Jeff Koinange complained about his astronomical electricity bill.
According to the scribe, he did not have appliances that would justify the high electricity bill he pays.
“I still don’t know why I still pay KSh 50,000 a month, and I don’t have a factory in my home or anything. Maybe someone is tapping into my line,” he said.
