Uhuru was at an event and preached the need for family unity, saying that family gives people strength.

Does Uhuru value family?

The former president said there is strength in knowing that you can depend on people who depend on you.

He said that family gives one strength when everything else is lost.

"There is God's will and grace, individual strength, but there is also that family encouragement and support that is also the foundation of not only getting well, but also being strong because you know you have people who you depend on, but also depend on you. That also gives you strength even when you feel that everything is gone so."

Where does Uhuru's wife come from?

The former head of state finished off his speech by saying that his wife, Margaret Kenyatta, is among the most beautiful women.

He noted that the most gorgeous women hail from Murang'a and Gatundu and even pointed at his gorgeous wife, asking Kenyans to compare the beauty.

"I have nothing else to say only that I can say by the way you know, if I was to be honest, the most beautiful women in this land of ours come first and foremost from a place called Gatitu in Gatundu South. That's number one but number two is a place called Kangema in Murang'a county.
