Franklin Mark Gogo, better known as MC Gogo, has responded to claims that he is gay and in a relationship with a prominent Kenyan governor.

A blogger had accused MC Gogo of being in a relationship with a renowned youthful governor.
However, MC Gogo denied these allegations during a phone interview with Milele FM's Ankali Ray.
Is MC Gogo gay?
The entertainer laughed off the allegation, saying he had not even met the governor he was linked to.

MC Gogo also clarified that he is straight and not gay.
"I don't want to talk about that issue anymore. Don't worry, those are the problems of being famous.

What was Gogo's life like before fame?
In an interview with Phil Director, MC Gogo shared that he grew up in the modest surroundings of Dandora.
After completing high school, he took a job as a primary school teacher, earning KSh 3,000 a month.
During an appearance on Hot 96 FM, Gogo mentioned that a community-based organisation gave him the opportunity to hone his emceeing skills, which he had initially experimented with at church.
How did Gogo start his journey as an emcee?
MC Gogo’s emceeing career took off during the COVID-19 pandemic, when he began creating and sharing entertaining skits on TikTok.
He collaborated with DJ Duffy and DJ Muge, offering free shows to their growing fanbase.
Today, he is widely known for his show, The Kingly Experience, which was officially launched in 2022 in partnership with his close friend, Duffy.
Are older women hitting on MC Gogo?
Previously, Gogo talked about older women approaching him and recounted times he had to confront one because she was unable to let go.
Gogo claimed that a woman once approached him while he was in the club and ordered him to wind up so they could go home together.
