Carol was scared of moving with her daughter, then being forced to go back home.
“This video, the reason I am emotional is that I am so proud of myself. This is one of the steps I was afraid of taking in life because I wasn’t sure how life was going to pan out. I have trusted and I’ve seen God. I have decided to take the bold step. I thank my mum and dad. They took a bold step to stand with my daughter. I know you have been wondering where my daughter is. Moving forward you’ll be seeing her, and she’ll be living with me. You’ll be coming to visit your granny right? Thank you, dad. I know you’ll be watching the video," she said.
