It has been a year since Zabron Singers' soloist Marco Joseph Bukulu died due to heart-related complications.

He was buried on Sunday, August 25, 2024, in Kahama, Shinyanga district, Tanzania.

The celebrated Zabron Singers' lead soloist left behind a wife and three kids.

Marco was a doting father to his children and a great husband, as Joan always praised him.

On August 22, during his first death anniversary, the heartbroken widow shared photos of their young family, reminiscing about their lovely memories together. She accompanied the snaps with a lengthy touching tribute, admitting that his death left her and the kids devastated.

She recalled her last conversation with her husband, a few hours before he died.

"Today marks one year since my husband, the father of my children. We remember you so much! We are hurting a lot, but we are consoled because we hope that God's decision and will is the best๐Ÿ™... On the morning of August 21 2024 was my last day you and I spoke face to face my dear husband, I came to the hospital early and you were smiling as usual though you carried severe pain in the heart, we prayed together and I didn't know that was our last service, but the doctors encouraged me that the operation is going on well. Not be worried, after two hours ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ I saw a message coming in that my husband is no longer with me๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ. My heart bled ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’” my life changed since I received the terrible news. I thank God for the life of my husband while he was on earth, he was a good advisor to my family and also. The good leader of my family ๐Ÿ™ We have hope that we will meet," she wrote.

In another post, the young mother who is a baker and member of Zabron Singers noted that life hasn't been easy, asking Jesus to take control.

"๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ’” Yesu ingilia kati mimi mwenyewe siwezi wewe ndo mfariji mkuu (Jesus, intervene, I can't do it myself, you are the ultimate comforter)," she wrote.

Joan shared another photo sitting on her husband's grave, accompanied by the tearjerking message below:

"Yesu maumivu yangu ni makali sana peke yangu mimi siwezi yesu. Baba naomba na mimi uniguse ili moyo wangu uweze kutulia hata kidogo (Jesus, my pain is so severe, I cannot bear it alone. Father, I pray that you touch me so that my heart can be at peace, even just a little)."
