Vera recently delighted netizens after showing off the luxurious Range Rover she had gifted to herself.

She shared photos showing the new ride, which left many thinking that she had joined the common trend of many celebrities who hire cars from yards and pretend to have bought them.

Some also use the cars to market the companies that sell them before returning them to the yards.

Did Vera Sidika buy a Range Rover?

In her response, Vera took to her Instagram stories to share the video of how her journey to purchase the posh ride went down.

She also leaked her car logbook with her name to prove that she bought the car and is the rightful owner.

"Come with me to buy my Range Rover in the UK. I woke up one day and decided I wanted to buy a new car, and I thought, 'Why not fly to buy it?'. Just got to the dealers, oh my gosh, the Rolls-Royce and the Bentley. That's my car, guys," she said.

In the video, the Range Rover was dark blue, and she leaned on it as she took photos with it. The car was also shipped to the Coast, where Vera and her dad went to clear it.

"This is it in Mombasa, my dad and I went to clear it, I wanted it carried, and I decided to wrap it, and this is the colour guys that everyone is going crazy about. And this is my logbook," she said.

She also told off critics who were now asking for her KRA certificate and purchase records, as she explained that she paid for her car in cash.

"The logbook says it all, my full name. I paid in full. No loans, no hire. Just class. Y'all thought I walked into a yard and picked a locally used toy you could easily trace, or that it is on hire, cute. But it can never be me. I'm not your ordinary celeb. And not your everyday celeb move. Just the BA first-class ticket alone could buy you a small car. We are not the same," she said.

Is Vera broke?

Netizens recently speculated that Vera might be broke after she was seen hosting an unlikely gig at a little-known upcountry club, far from her usual glamorous spots.

However, Vera quickly shut down the chatter by sharing Instagram photos of herself flaunting bundles of cash, which fans estimated at around KSh 2.5 million.

In one shot, she even playfully held a stack to her ear like a phone as she bragged about building an empire.
