The field is known to have given many Kenyans an opportunity to make good money, with some coming online to show off their lifestyle.

According to the Trump administration, they are immediately pausing all worker visas for commercial truck drivers because foreign truckers were endangering American lives and undercutting US truckers.

Arnold Malcolm, popularly known for his viral line 'Machaji na Mamyonyois', has been open about his journey as a truck driver and has shown the ups and downs of it.

From his viral TikTok and Instagram videos, Malcom is usually inside the track, as he spews wisdom to fans who follow him for insights.

There was a time he worried netizens after bidding them goodbye, leaving many insinuating that he may be joining the military, only for him to return online the next day.

2. Cosmo Choi

William Ruto's ally Cosmo Choi worked as a truck driver in America, and he has always bragged about the wealth he has amassed in that field.

Many have always appreciated how he would talk about things that happen in Kenya and compare them to how they are in the US.

He, however, allegedly resigned from his truck driving gig, claiming that he was shifting his focus to his political ambitions in Kenya.

From his videos, he shows how he manoeuvres the heavy machinery with top-notch skills, always leaving many impressed by his mastery.

Machachari's Peterson Gathambo, popularly known as Chalo, has been spotted in videos shared by his friends living in the US, showing him driving trucks.

In a recent video that Katuosis shared, Chalo excited his fans as he made a hilarious video, reminding fans of his talent and urging them to keep watching what he does.

Some asked when he is planning to return to the screens again, as they missed seeing him on TV.

Elsewhere, a young Kenyan living in the US, identified as Samuel Mulwa, ditched his medical career to become a truck driver in America.

He revealed that a friend introduced him to the business, which made him intentionally pursue it due to the perks.

According to Mulwa, trucking is lucrative, and he shared that he earns up to KSh 600,000 and the tips needed to join the field.
