Fardosa Narrates First Time Experience Using Elevator, Asks for New House: "Ya Gorofa"

TikTok sensation Fardosa has visited Nairobi for the first time after going viral by showing how she and her community live in Kakuma, Turkana county.

The mother of four was in an interview on Citizen TV where she narrated her first-time experiences since she visited the capital city.

How is Fardosa's first experience in Nairobi?

According to her, she had never seen electricity or used an elevator, something that she only witnessed during this first visit.

"Shangazi has built for us. In my house, there is a bed. When it gets to 7 pm, you just get into your bed because of the darkness. We have never seen electricity," said Fardosa.

Shangazi, who brought them to Nairobi, narrated how excited they were to try the lift. Fardosa, out of curiosity, left Lulu and her host slightly laughing with her reaction.

"What if you fall? It was going up with us. What if people fall?" she said.

She also noted how excited she was to see the buildings and asked if she could find someone to build her a big house.

"I feel so good. My house was so bad, when it rained, I would stand in the middle carrying my child. Or I would go to the neighbour's place, and sometimes she would chase me because she had her husband. I actually want someone who will build me a storey-building like this. I want a storey-building," she further said.

How did Fardosa react on seeing Kawira?

Earlier, TUKO.co.ke reported that Fardosa and her friend Apoo were overwhelmed with emotions after seeing the woman behind the projects in their hometown.

Philanthropist, Kawira, had supported Fardosa and more than 20 others to get decent homes from the patched manyattas.

Upon seeing her for the first time, Fardosa and Apoo could not hide their tears as they thanked her for changing their lives.

Upon tasting it, she quickly downed it as she explained that it was better than maziwa mala that she takes daily.

She then requested Shangazi to bring her a bigger bottle the next time, adding that she can take 20 bottles of yoghurt daily.
