Esther has become a familiar face on TikTok since the death of her grandson in 2024.

What does Chira’s granny want Kenyans to do for her?

She recently went live, where she confidently asked Kenyans to help her acquire a new vehicle.

This time, she set her sights on an electric car, explaining that it would make her movements easier and save on fuel costs.

"Demio, I want a Demio. An electric one. Sitaki ya mafuta. I want an electric one so that I can buy two batteries and leave one to charge while I step out with the other. That one will be good so that when I am in a hurry, I can leave one to charge," Esther said during the live.

What else has Chira’s granny asked Kenyans for?

This is not the first time the grandmother has reached out to Kenyans for help.

After Chira’s passing, TikTokers rallied behind her, buying land and building her a new home in a show of solidarity and compassion.

However, in February, Esther once again made headlines after asking to be moved from the house TikTokers had built.

She lamented that the area was insecure, claiming there were frequent cases of cattle theft.

She suggested that well-wishers either relocate her or build an electric fence around the house, even warning that she might sell the property if nothing was done.

Just as before, Kenyans took to social media to voice their opinions, with many reacting strongly to her appeal for a car.

While some joked about her request while others criticised her for appearing to depend too much on well-wishers.
