A video of controversial businessman Bernard Kipkosgei Koyumi, popularly known as Pavilion Motiryot, dishing out money has emerged.

Pavilion has been in the news of late after he allegedly assaulted content creator Bella Comedy at the Kutit Culture event on Saturday, August 9.
The businessman admitted to beating Bella, claiming he had warned her several times to stop mentioning him in her "petty gossip", but his warnings fell on deaf ears.
He assaulted Bella, leaving her with serious injuries.

What happened at Vicky Brilliance's event?
On Sunday, August 24, Vicky, also known as Queen of the Valley, celebrated five years in the music industry at the Bomet Green Stadium.
Several Kalenjin artistes and fans joined the family of the artiste at the event, which had thousands of attendees.
Vicky landed in a chopper accompanied by her husband. The mother of three, dressed in a beige trouser suit and white shirt, was overwhelmed by emotions after arriving on stage, and she broke down.
Motiryot, who was on stage, took the mic and addressed the crowd before gifting Vicky cash.
"My name is Motiryot as you’ve heard. We (Vicky and I) have been friends for a long time. Let me give her KSh 10,000," he said amid cheers.

Former Bomet governor, Isaac Ruto, was also present at the event and gifted Vicky cash.
Ruto shared photos from the event, praising the artiste for her hard work and resilience. He wrote:
"For five years now, Vicky Brilliance has not just been a name but a voice whose lyrics and talent have united our community. Her journey has been a true testament of hard work, resilience and dedication; a milestone that speaks loudly of her passion for music and her love for the people. We commend the great strides she has made in her music career and wish her nothing but the very best as she continues to use her gift to inspire, Shape and uplift the community. Vicky took to social media to thank her fans and supporters for making her event a success.
"Thanks for your big support and your massive turn up.Thanks for the love. My fellow artists, leaders and my fans, be blessed sana Nawapenda zaidi!❤️," she posted.

Was Pavilion charged in court?
In a separate story, Pavilion appeared before Principal Magistrate C.M. Njagi at Kibera Law Courts on August 13, days after assaulting Bella.
Njagi charged him with robbery with violence and assault causing actual bodily harm.
According to the ODPP file, the businessman not only hurt Bella, but also robbed her of KSh 30,000 and a Redmi 14 Pro phone worth KSh 26,000.
Pavilion was released on a KSh 500,000 bond and is back on social media doing what he loves doing.
