Luhya musician Steve Kay was attacked and robbed after spending the day with his family.

The musician took to Facebook to share the ordeal and accompanied it with pictures of his shattered rear windshield.

He was on his way home when he got attacked and robbed, and the thieves made away with KSh 113,000, his clothes, shoes, and phones.

Steve thanked God that he was doing fine, and he also had a message for the thieves.
He wrote:
"Luckily that I am safe and I thank God. Happened yesterday night on my way home. Unknown persons attacked and luckily went home with my KSh 113,000 plus my clothes and shoes with my phones. Penye wako wajue am safe and kicking, natafute ingine mrudi tena," he said.

In an exclusive interview with TUKO.co.ke, the musician revealed that the ordeal occurred along the Webuye-Malaba Highway.

He suspects that his attackers knew his movements as he was visiting his family.
Steve was at a family meeting and was in the company of a driver and a friend, and luckily, they all escaped unhurt.
"They attacked me near Sikata area, along the Webuye-Malaba Highway. I was heading to my residence after spending the whole day in a family meeting. I suspect the attackers had prior knowledge of my movements. I was with driver and a friend. But we all escaped unhurt," he said.

In other news, a man recently shared CCTV footage of two suspected mchele babes.
The ladies made away with valuables worth over KSh 700,000.
The man's plea ignited mixed reactions; some sympathised with him while others questioned how he got to interact with them.
The CCTV video of the suspected thieves was widely circulated.
