The 30-year-old realtor died in her sleep a few days after returning from Dubai where she had gone to celebrate her birthday.

On March 28, she was recognised at the Super Women in Business Awards 2025, organised by Dependable Brands, and she won the Best Real Estate Agency barely three months before her untimely death.

Dressed in a stylish black and orange jumpsuit, Mary walked majestically as she went on stage to receive her award.

Sharing photos from the event while flaunting her certificate, Mary wrote a heartwarming message, thanking her supporters and also crediting her hard work for the recognition.

In her speech, she thanked the event's organisers for the recognition and shared a short video.

In the video, the realtor was very excited as she addressed the guests.

"Good evening ,everyone. My name is Mary Diana, you can call me MDee. I am the CEO and founder of MD Modern Homes, where we offer your preferred home sale properties within Nairobi and its environs, and I'd like to take this opportunity to appreciate the organisers of this event for the recognition. It does not only simplify the hard work we put out there, but also shows incredible women support and inspire each other everyday. Let's continue empowering and lifting one another. Let's show how brilliant we can stand out in the business industry," she said.

Where will Mary Diana be buried?

TUKO.co.ke reported that the realtor's family shared a statement after her death, sharing details of her funeral arrangements.

The family announced that there will be a requiem mass for the celebrated realtor on July 10 at the Consolata Church in Westlands.

Mary's burial was scheduled for July 12 in Mwilitsa village, Shinyalu constituency, Kakamega county.
