"I had to confirm again and again. I couldn’t believe it at first. I had to wait until Monday morning, and at exactly 9:17 am., I received a call from SportPesa confirming that I had indeed won. The excitement in me didn’t allow me to stay quiet; I had to share the good news with my mom and my brother," he said.

He said he would be using his gaming proceeds on charitable causes thanks to his understanding of the sufferings of the common public, having been brought up in an orphanage.

Ouma allocated a chunk of his winnings to the orphanage he grew up in and also to the family that helped him out of his sorry circumstances.

He joins the trail of millionaires churned out by the gaming company.
