What did Peter Salasya say about dead protestor?
A video by CNN, done by Larry Madowo, showed the last moment of a protester killed in June 2024.
Erickson Kyalo Mutisya, a 25-year-old, was seen wearing white overalls at the demos.
"He was supposed to be at the butcher shop where he worked, but ended up here," Larry said in the narration.
The video showed Mutisya dancing alongside other protesters along Parliament Road.

That was until shots rang out and police advanced towards the protesters.

"Unknown to me at the time, Mutisya's body was being carried away behind me, his white overalls soaked in blood,” Larry said.
An autopsy report showed that Mutisya was shot in the back and bled to death.
Salasya shared the footage, expressing his desire to see Mutisya’s family.
“God willing, I will visit the family of that young man in white clothes who was killed outside the parliament buildings and thrown at the main gate of the national assembly,” he wrote.

He also noted that lawmakers should look into the compensation of families who lost their loved ones.
The legislator noted that he witnessed Mutisya lying dead at parliament, and his death haunted him.
“This makes the blood of that young man continue crying for justice. When I return from upcountry, please, someone take me to their home. That one young person always pains me a lot. I have never healed since that day.”

In other news, Salasya gave viewers a glimpse into his farm, taking them through his poultry area and a sturdy shelter for his dairy cows.
During the tour, a light-hearted moment occurred when one of the cows charged at him, causing the MP to run off in surprise.
