His father, Meshack Opiyo, said the autopsy findings were enough to point to murder.
This was after the police initially indicated that Ojwang had fatally injured himself after hitting his head on the wall.
Why Albert Ojwang's father pleaded with Ruto
A distraught Opiyo suggested that, owing to his low stature in society, he might not get justice on behalf of his deceased child.
He said the police developed the resolve to harm his son after observing that he came from a humble background.
"To our beloved president, William Ruto, help me as a taxpayer, and focus on justice for the poor. The officers captured photos of my home before leaving with my son, and they saw that I am poor and I cannot defend myself; hence, they can do anything to my child. That is a curse," said Opiyo.
What Albert Ojwang told DIG Lagat
Meanwhile, Opiyo was convinced that his only child had been killed by the police officers who handled him while in custody.

Ojwang had been apprehended in his rural home in connection with defamatory posts he allegedly published online against Deputy Inspector General of Police Eliud Lagat.
With the findings of the postmortem, Ojwang's father concluded his son was murdered and that the DIG could be knowing a thing or two, having been the plaintiff behind the ill-fated arrest.
Speaking to the press outside the City Mortuary after the autopsy, Opiyo unequivocally questioned Lagat on what warranted the tragic atrocity on his child.
Was Albert Ojwang innocent?
On whether Ojwang defamed the DIG, who is in charge of the Kenya Police Service (KPS), Opiyo wondered why his child was the only target and sacrificial figure when many other Kenyans had stood up to speak against maladministration on the side of the state officers.
He said Ojwang's death had robbed him of his only hope, having toiled in the quarries at the coast to educate him to the tertiary level.
A visibly jaded Opiyo posed tough questions to the DIG, whom he feels has a hand in the untimely death of his son.
