Shortly after the robbery, the silver Toyota Axio of unknown registration number made a U-turn and drove off towards Limuru Road.

Was it an inside job?
Officers are currently reviewing CCTV footage from both the bank and nearby streets in a bid to identify the attackers and trace their escape route.
“This kind of incident raises serious concerns about how criminals can track individuals immediately after large cash withdrawals,” a senior officer involved in the probe told reporters.
Police have not ruled out the possibility of insider involvement, noting that similar robberies in the past have often been linked to rogue bank employees tipping off criminal gangs.
Authorities continue to urge members of the public to seek police assistance or use money transfer methods when handling large sums of cash.
As of the time of filing this report, no arrests had been made.
