According to the human rights activist, the actions by the police show there are clear intentions to eliminate him.
"There's a clear intention to eliminate people like me. I don't want people to go through what I did. Here I am, seeking justice in my country and have been denied a chance to write an OB. I have to depend on my lawyers for the next course of action," Mwabili said, as reported by Daily Nation.
The vocal activists further claimed that Tanzanian spies warned him about the possibility of being killed before the 2027 General Election.
Mwagodi, who spent three days in captivity, claimed Tanzanian spies told him to be extra careful.
"Be careful, protect yourself, let's try to arrive,' as was the advice I was given by spies from a neighbouring country. They told me to be careful to make it to the year 2027," Mwagodi stated.

Is Kenya colluding with Tanzania to silence critics?
Khelef Khalifa, director of Muslims for Human Rights (MUHURI), accused Ruto's administration of colluding with Tanzanian authorities to suppress critics.
According to Khalifa, Mwagodi's abduction and torture showed that Kenyan security agencies had been working together with their Tanzanian authorities.
"This shows there's a connection between Kenyan and Tanzanian security. It is something we suspected, but now it's clear that the human rights activists are arrested and subjected to torture. The things they can't do here, they use the Tanzanian forces to do them," Muhuri stated.
