The news of the missing phone was delivered to the gathering by the Saboti MP, who pleaded to the person who might have picked it up to return it.

Did someone steal Majimbo Kalasinga's phone?

The ODM lawmaker stresses the importance of showing respect to the guests present, saying they were there to support the women.

"Hon Majimbo Kalasinga has lost his phone. If you have it, kindly return it. Kindly youths, the honourable MP came here to support the women, but now he has lost his phone. We should respect our visitors. And when the MP will be leaving, I am requesting the youths not to follow the lawmaker," Amisi pleaded.

Kalasinga had earlier addressed the forum briefly before requesting to leave early to attend a similar meeting in his Kabuchai constituency.

In his speech, Kalisanga disclosed that he had just arrived from South Africa, where he had travelled for an official function.

"I have just arrived from South Africa, but I purposed to attend this fundraising before travelling to my constituency for a similar function," Kalasinga said.

During the meeting, Senator Edwin Sifuna vowed to continue criticising President William Ruto's government.

“Raila has said that this is a democratic party, and any member is free to speak their mind. Those who say I cannot hold views independent of the party just because I am the Secretary General, and that I must represent the party at all times, I want to tell you that Raila has said I can speak my mind,” he said.
