While on the way, one of the kids, Hannah Muthoni, fell sick and was rushed to Mama Lucy Hospital, where she unfortunately passed away while receiving treatment.
"We took the children and handed them over to the children's home. That one kid, when we were taking them to the children's home, the baby wasn't feeling well. Kagure, I, and these women are requesting you to help this woman. Help her rent her simple house so that she can be able to take care of the remaining kid," Ndegwa stated.
Following the tragic incident, Wangechi, who comes from a humble background, was unable to clear the hospital bill and other expenses.
Luckily, Kagure's foundation stepped in and cleared the hospital bill, paving the way for Hannah's decent burial.
"Thank you so much, Kagure. May God bless you," Wangechi said.

How Agnes Kagure mourned Baby Hannah
Kagure issued a statement condoling with Wangechi's family, saying Baby Hannah's death was painful to everyone.
"Every child is a gift, and Baby Hannah was no exception. I stand in solidarity with her family and with the people of Embakasi North, who have surrounded them with love and care. I also thank the AKFO Welfare team for their incredible work. Dance with the angels, little angel," the city businesswoman said.
Kagure, who is eyeing the Nairobi gubernatorial seat in 2027, promised that her leadership will be rooted in compassion and genuine care.
"Nairobians deserve a leadership that doesn’t only appear during campaigns but stands with them, every single day. This is the leadership I believe in; one rooted in compassion, consistency, and genuine care. Together, we will build a Nairobi where no one feels abandoned, and where leadership is not just seen, but felt," Kagure said.
Will Agnes Kagure support youths?
In other news, Kagure expressed concern over how young people are often portrayed in a negative light.
In a tweet, the businesswoman challenged the perception of youth as troublemakers, calling them problem-solvers and drivers of change.
According to Kagure, Nairobi county cannot progress without intentionally placing the youth at the heart of its transformation.
She promised that if elected governor in 2027, young people in Nairobi would no longer be sidelined or used as a political prop.
