On Sunday, August 24, a Narok-Line PSV matatu collided with a trailer from the Mombasa Cement company at the Gitaru area.

How did Waiyaki Way accident occur?

A video shared online and seen by TUKO.co.ke, showed how terrible the early morning accident was.

In the footage, the 14-seater matatu is seen sandwiched between the trailer and guard rail on the busy highway.

The matatu full of passengers was headed to Narok from Nairobi when the accident accident.

Luckily, all the passengers were rescued by other road users, and the injured rushed to the hospital for urgent medical attention.

In the video, it is not clear who, between the matatu driver and the trailer, was wrong, but it's clear that one of them was attempting to overtake.
