Planned Power Outage: Nairobi, Nyeri Among 7 Counties to Be Affected on Tuesday, April 1

Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has announced a scheduled electricity disruption across seven counties on Tuesday, April 1, as part of routine maintenance and network upgrades.

The planned power outages will last for at least seven hours in affected areas.

In a public notice, KPLC stated that the interruptions are necessary to facilitate system maintenance, connect new customers, and upgrade power lines.

"It is necessary to interrupt supply periodically to facilitate maintenance and upgrade of power lines to the network; to connect new customers or to replace power lines during road construction," said Kenya Power in a statement on their website.

Nairobi region

Part of Westlands (From 9am to 5pm)
