During the operation led by a team from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), police recovered a vehicle and three motorbikes suspected to have been used to trail the legislator from Parliament to the scene of the attack near a roundabout where he was gunned down.

The investigators are continuing to investigate the motive behind the killing, working around the clock to bring all involved parties to justice.
