The suspect, identified as Daniel Mori Mohere, was apprehended on Monday, May 19, following an operation based on actionable intelligence.

According to a police report, the operation was carried out by Njiru Sierra One and Kayole 5 undercover teams within the areas of Nyama Villa Soweto and Umoja Three–Kwa Maji.

The officers also arrested Daniel’s accomplices, including 59-year-old Julius Marwa Chacha and 27-year-old Caroline Mweni Nzomo.

Moreover, upon searching the suspect’s residence, the officers recovered a variety of police uniforms.

“During the operation, assorted police uniforms and government stores were recovered. The suspects are now in custody awaiting arraignment in court, and an inventory of the recoveries has been made and preserved as exhibits,” reads part of the police report.
