On his Facebook page, the Ni Mahoya hitmaker expressed profound disappointment with Gachagua, accusing him of hypocrisy and neglect towards the same artistes he now tries to control.
In a heartfelt message, Martin questioned why Gachagua never hosted the musicians he is now condemning, even during his time as deputy president, despite their support during his campaigns.
As a prominent voice in the Kikuyu gospel scene, Martin reminded Gachagua of the moments when artistes like himself stood by him.
He also recalled the controversial disruption of his Ihura Stadium Prayer Day event, allegedly orchestrated by Gachagua.
Wa Janet dismissed Gachagua’s boycott threats against artistes who met Kindiki as unjustified, urging him to appreciate the musicians’ efforts rather than condemn them.
The singer noted that Kindiki had demonstrated more support for the creative industry than Gachagua ever had.
