Kisumu: 36-Year-Old Man Killed after Being Found in Woman's House

Citizen Digital reported that on Wednesday, July 16, Kennedy Okeyo was attacked by unknown people after they found him inside a woman's house, which is about 2 km from his home.

Who killed Kennedy Okeyo?

Confirming the incident, North Nyakach location chief Maurice Adie, said Okeyo was attacked with a machete in a suspected love triangle.

Adie revealed that unknown suspects stormed the woman’s home at night armed with crude weapons.

The assailants slashed the deceased with a machete, leaving him fighting for his life before fleeing.

After being attacked, Okeyo was rushed to a hospital in Ahero, and later to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital, where he passed away while undergoing treatment.

Preliminary reports indicate the 36-year-old man had an affair with the woman in whose house he was attacked.

Police have arrested the woman to assist with investigations; a manhunt for the assailants continues.

In a related incident, a 37-year-old man was killed in a woman’s house in Migori county in another suspected love triangle.

The man identified as Kevin Ouma, was allegedly killed while fighting with another man, Johnson Ochieng, after the two accidentally met at the woman's house, and a confrontation ensued.

North East Kadem location chief Voshastar Akal confirmed the incident while sharing that the surviving man was nursing injuries in the hospital.

The chief noted that preliminary investigations indicate that the deceased had a date with the woman at her house on the night of the incident.

However, the other man showed up at the house a few hours later, after which a fight broke out between them.

How man killed wife in Dodoma in suspected love triangle

In a related incident, a man identified as Isaac Kamanja allegedly killed his wife, Rebecca John in suspected love triangle.

Neighbours were left in shock after the suspect beat his wife to death before burying her body at night.

According to police reports in Dodoma, the suspect buried the deceased in a toilet pit to cover up evidence of the heinous act.

According to neighbour Agnes Mwaluko, Rebecca was found having cosy moments with another man, which triggered the violent act.

Kamaja allegedly found his wife with the other man; he reportedly rushed to grab a shovel handle, intending to hit the man.

Kamaja, who is from Tanzania, ended up striking his wife instead, leading to her unfortunate death.
