Speaking to the press on Tuesday, July 22, after handing over a KSh 500,000 cheque to members of Kiminini Boda Boda SACCO, Bisau warned that continued hooliganism cases would scare away investors from the county.
The vocal lawmaker urged political leaders in the cosmopolitan county to shun the use of goons to cause chaos in political rallies and burials.

He termed the use of such tactics by leaders as ‘dirty politics’.
"We do not do this because of politics. Rather, we do this because I want my people to live better lives. Our colleagues will wait until the electioneering period so that they dish out some cash in the name of empowerment," Bisau said.
The legislator who is serving his first term in office also urged Trans Nzoia youth to ignore selfish politicians who take advantage of them to advance their divisive agendas.
He, however, noted that a majority of the young people in the country can no longer be easily lured into divisive politics as it has been in the past.
"I am glad that our youths are now informed and cannot accept being exploited by political leaders to heckle other leaders and even cause chaos," the legislator noted.

The daring young men caused a traffic jam along the busy Moi-Avenue street.
Another incident was also reported last week when hooligans disrupted Trans Nzoia rounty woman representative Lilian Chebet Siyoi’s food distribution initiative at Kapsitwet area in Kwanza constituency.
Meanwhile, the Kenya Kwanza government-allied legislator said over 4,200 women in the constituency recently received seed capital following the recent empowerment initiative that he hosted.

He further said boda boda operators and other members of the SACCO from the constituency will soon be able to get deposits for new motorcycles.
"We request all the beneficiaries of this empowerment initiative to learn and exercise the culture of savings and investment. In the near future, we want to see them grow so that they can run petrol stations and be landlords," he stated.

Did Trans Nzoia deputy governor betray Natembeya?
Previously, TUKO.co.ke reported that Trans Nzoia deputy governor Philomena Kapkory had dismissed criticism over her declaration that she supports President William Ruto.
Kapkory, who has not attended an event with Governor George Natenmbeya for over a year now, insisted that it was within her constitutional right to support Ruto.
She also noted that her public support for the Kenya Kwanza administration does not amount to betraying her boss.
