Migori: North Kanyamkago MCA George Omamba is facing a second heartbreak in just weeks after the brutal killing of his brother on the night of Tuesday, July 22.

Mike Omamba was reportedly found dead with knife wounds at his residence in Police Line Estate, Migori Town, in what authorities suspect to be a stabbing by unknown assailants.
According to Mayienga FM, the motive behind the killing remained unclear, and authorities had launched investigations into the incident.
His body was taken to Migori Referral Hospital by police for postmortem and other procedures, where distraught relatives broke down in tears upon arrival at the facility.
When did George Omamba's mother die?
The tragic incident came as the family was already in mourning following the recent death of Mama Suslia Omamba, the first wife of the late Odhiambo Omamba, former MP for Uriri constituency.
According to a post by the MCA, their mother passed away on July 5 and is reportedly scheduled to be buried in August 8.
"We regret to announce the demise of Mama Suslia Odhiambo Omamba, which occurred today morning at Nairobi hospital," the post read.
The double tragedy has drawn an outpouring of condolences from Kenyans, with many expressing solidarity with the grieving family during this difficult time.

Elsewhere, Taita Taveta MCA Duncan Wangama was thrown into mourning following the loss of his newborn daughter, just days after burying his wife.
His wife, who gave birth via Caesarean section, developed post-delivery complications and died despite medical efforts.
The heartbreaking double tragedy struck less than two years after the couple’s wedding.
The baby was laid to rest on Monday, July 21.
Nyandarua MCA killed in car crash
Elsewhere, a UDA nominated MCA was killed after her car collided with a bus owned by Guardian Angel Coach Service.
Beth Wahito met her death along the Nakuru-Nairobi highway on the night of June 22.
She had served as a lawmaker at the county level for three terms and was one of the most experienced politicians in Nyandarua County Assembly.
Wahito was a vocal defender and champion of women's rights, a firm and spirited advocacy that earned her nomination slots in the county assembly twice.
