She holds a bachelor's degree in Public Health from Kenyatta University. Since her graduation, she has worked in various departments across the country as a health practitioner, and she is currently a businesswoman.

She donates whatever little she gets from her business to the community. For girls from humble backgrounds, she provides them with sanitary towels and uniforms.

According to Abuti, many families in her village live miserable lives, hence the need for support with food and other basic needs.

She has also mobilised job opportunities for the local youth as part of her efforts to ensure they are economically empowered and subsequently alleviate the living standards of their households.

"I I have been using the little money I earn from my business to help the elderly and provide sanitary towels for girls in schools. For youths, I have successfully connected twenty of them for jobs abroad," Abuti noted.
