A Kenyan TikToker, Storyteller, is mourning his sister Jane, who allegedly perished in the Mwihoko crash.

The TikToker was overcome with emotion, and he took to his TikTok account to share his grief with his TikTok community.

He claimed that his sister was among the victims of the AMREF helicopter crash at Mwihoko, Kiambu county.

He could barely hold back his grief as he revealed the sad news.

“Aki dada yangu. Ni sister yangu mmefanyia hivyo?,” he shared in the heartbreaking clip.

He captioned the clip:

“Death again with my sister in the Mwihoko plane crush. My sister she’s no more. My sister Jane is dead.”

What happened to the AMREF aircraft?

The air ambulance, which the AMREF Flying Doctors operated, tragically crashed into a residential building.

According to reports, the crash claimed at least six lives, two were on the ground and four were onboard the airplane.

When the aircraft crashed, Githurai residents flocked to the scene in numbers, with some recounting what went down.

The TikToker’s video went viral and prompted an outpouring of support from his followers and Kenyans.

In an exclusive interview with TUKO.co.ke, the Tikoker, real name Charles Omusula, confirmed that his sister Jane Omusula was among the crash victims.

Some of the Githurai residents narrated the horrific scene they witnessed via Storyteller's comment section.

Some good Samaritans explained how they tried to rescue those caught under the debris.

How many people died in AMREF plane crash?

The organisation released a statement after the Cessna Citation XLS ambulance aircraft crash, mourning the four victims. Apart from Jane Omusula, other AMREF staff members who died in the crash include:

Captain Muthuka Munuve who had worked at AMREF for six years and nine months until his untimely death.

Another captain, Brian Kimani Miaro, who has only worked at AMREF for three years, also perished in the tragic crash.

Celebrated Charles Mugi Njoroge, who had served for an incredible seven years and eight months, was also a victim.

AMREF remembered him as a devoted medical doctor who brought healing, hope, and expertise to his patients in their most critical moments.

The number of victims was six. The other two civilians, including a man who was resting inside his house and a child, were killed on the ground after the plane crashed.

How did a 13-year-old from Mwihoko die?

In other news, TUKO.co,ke reported that a mum painfully wailed after learning that her 13-year-old daughter was involved in the crash.

According to some eyewitnesses, while the plane was on its way down, it hit a section of a building, and the 13-year-old was among those affected.

The lady wailed terribly as some residents consoled her.
