Why did Kidero sneak into Bunge Towers?

Court papers indicate he was caught twice, but Kidero told the court he had entered the premises three times.

He also surprised the courtroom by interrupting proceedings to compliment the magistrate on his looks.

"Actually, you are very handsome," he said, leaving the court attendees in loud laughter.

The prosecution argued that his behaviour and repeated trespassing attempts raised concerns about his mental state.

He recounted an incident where, during a late sitting, he discovered that two MPs had invited women into the lounge, hindering the ability of members to caucus and discuss matters freely.

Ichung’wah emphasised the importance of maintaining the dignity of Parliament and warned that he would expose any MPs who repeated such actions.

The outspoken majority leader also threatened to name MPs who skip parliamentary sittings to engage in private affairs, arguing that it amounts to a breach of the social contract signed between them and the electorate in the 2022 General Election.
