President William Ruto was impressed by a little girl who interviewed him upon his arrival at the Kenya Music Festivals in Nyeri county.

Raziela, from Kiranda Primary School in Migori county, won the heart of the president when she interviewed him upon his arrival at the festivals.
How little girl interviewed Ruto
She questioned how Ruto felt being the commander-in-chief of the country. Raziela asked:

"Kwa majina naitwa Raziela vile nimekuambia. Unaskiaje kuwa rais wa Kenya? (My name is Raziela, as I told you. How does it feel to be the president of Kenya?)"
The president was in awe of her question, and he even laughed before answering. Ruto spoke about it being a huge responsibility, catering to the needs of every Kenyan.
"Ni kazi ni kuwa mtumishi wa wananchi sawa sawa ("It’s work, being a servant of the people)."
Raziela questioned whether the president used to attend music festivals back in the day as a student.
"Unaskiaje vile ulikuwa mdogo? ulikuwa unaenda festivals na ulikuwa unaimba nyimbo gani? (How did you feel when you were young? Did you attend festivals and what songs did you sing?)"
The president said that music back in the day was much different from what it is right now.
"Siku hiyo nyimbo zilikuwa tofauti. Nimesahau unajua imekuwa siku nyingi. ("Those days the songs were different. I’ve forgotten, you know it’s been a long time?)"
What type of music does Ruto love?
She also asked him what type of music he loved listening to. Raziela posed:
"Unapenda nyimbo gani? (which songs do you love?)"
Ruto said that he loved choir songs or gospel pieces that are specially composed. He gave an example. He responded:
"Napenda ow n composition... 'Bwana U sehemu yangu," he proceeded to sing it.

Raziela told the president that she loved gospel music and also gave him a variety of her favourites.
She also questioned whether he used to sing before crowds like they do at the music festivals.
"Mimi napenda pop talent na Gospel Pop Talent like Mwalimu na Yesu. Wewe ulikuwa unaimba mbele ya watu?"
He responded:
"Eee nilikuwa naimba mbele ya watu tulikuwa tunafanya drama siku zetu. ("Yes, I used to sing in front of people, we used to perform drama in our days.)"
Rachel, after the festivals, hailed students who showcased their talents at the festivals.
She noted that creative performances were vital pillars for youth empowerment and job creation.
