The gesture by an alleged staff member did not sit well with many social media users, as the elderly woman appeared hopeless and abandoned.
The video captured politicians waiting for the Speaker of the National Assembly, Moses Wetang'ula.
They stood in a straight line, patiently awaiting his arrival. He soon arrived in a luxurious car, greeted them after alighting, and proceeded into the funeral home for the body viewing.
