When did St. Mary’s Ukwala High School students protest?

The learners further accused the school principal of being the primary supplier of the said poor-quality maize flour.

The demonstration reportedly erupted on the night of Monday, June 3, resulting in the closure of the school.

According to reports, students marched from the school to Ukwala Town, accusing the administration of serving them ugali made from expired flour.

The unrest escalated quickly, prompting authorities to take swift action to restore order.

Students were given a few minutes to vacate the school compound, leaving many parents and locals stunned by the abrupt closure.

Larmudiac High School students barred from school
