Kaputah told TUKO.co.ke that he learned of the sisters' plight after attending a women’s group meeting and decided to visit and offer his support.

He shared that Resiato Yenko and Sintei Yenko had not attended school since the beginning of the year, as they lacked school fees, uniforms, and shoes.

“One is in Grade Six while the other is in Grade Five. I bought each of them two pairs of uniforms and shoes and took them back to Nkairam Primary School, where they study,” he said.

The kind-hearted man noted that he has decided to take the sisters under his wing, as they have no one else to care for their needs, and their mother is mentally ill.

“Their father died a long time ago, and their mum is not in a stable condition. She doesn’t even recognise her children or herself. I will personally be paying their school fees to ensure they have a bright future,” Kaputah added.

He also mentioned that the girls currently live with their grandmother, who is very elderly and unable to care for them effectively.

In a video shared on social media, the philanthropist is seen engaging with the girls at a local shop, where he bought them shoes and uniforms.

“I hope you will study hard, get jobs, and become successful so that one day, you can come back and help other needy children,” he told them.
