A young woman from Kilgoris, Narok county, can now smile and breathe a sigh of relief after a well-wisher cleared her outstanding school fees.

Purity Taa had made an emotional online appeal, tearfully asking for help to pay KSh 125,850 in accumulated fees.
The clinical medicine and surgery student had been sent out of the exam room and was unable to sit for some of her final-year papers.
Who paid Purity Taa's school fees?
Following her heartfelt plea, Kenyans on social media responded by sending contributions to her number, raising a total of KSh 80,850, leaving a balance of KSh 45,000.

Purity told TUKO.co.ke that a kind man, identified as Levy Kachilei, stepped in and paid the remaining amount, restoring her hope at a time she was close to giving up.
“Mr Levy Kachilei called me and offered to pay the fees, and he did so on the same day. Thanks to him and to Kenyans, I can now sit for my exams without worry,” she shared.

Purity Taa sends message to well-wishers
The young woman expressed deep gratitude to everyone who contributed to helping clear her fees.
She said the generosity she received had made a meaningful difference in her life and promised to make the most of the opportunity given to her.
“I will strive to excel in my studies and make a positive impact on the world, in part, to honour your support. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in me and for being such a vital part of my journey. I am truly humbled and forever indebted to your kindness,” she said.
Purity also acknowledged those who helped bring her story to the public’s attention.
She especially thanked TUKO.co.ke for highlighting her plight and making it known to a wider audience.
She sent special thanks to Gilbert Kiprono, also known as Sec Regen Kip, who was the first to share her video online.
“Sec Regen, I am really grateful for your help. If it weren't for you, my video wouldn't have gone viral on social media. I truly appreciate everything you've done. The fee balance has now been cleared,” she said.
Purity also expressed appreciation to AIC Litein Medical Training College for being patient with her and agreeing to allow her to sit the exams she had missed, enabling her to move forward with her academic journey.
Kisumu well-wisher clears fee arrears for Kanga High student
In other news, TUKO.co.ke reported that a well-wisher, identified as Jonathan Okoth Opande, alias Mullah, came to the rescue of a distraught student from Kanga High School.
The bright young student, Balola Onyango Okongo, had dropped out due to financial constraints, which had forced him to remain out of school.
Mullah, through his Masomo Mashinani Foundation, cleared Balola’s KSh 182,000 fee arrears and expressed his commitment to supporting his education.
