"Received the tragic news of the passing of Comrade Abdon Yegon with a lot of shock and disbelief. The painful hand of death has taken away a young leader who, until his demise, was also a former CU chairperson at Simoti High School. One lesson I learnt from Abdon is steadfastness in faith and humility in public service and Christian life.
"The family of Abdon has lost a great future leader who could have uplifted them in the days to come—but God, why? 😭😭😭I believe God had sufficient reason. Losing a young soul is always tragic and catastrophic, especially when they had such a bright future."
