She had to confront a flood of emotions as her life took a drastic turn, one from which she would never fully recover.

“I had to learn life in a wheelchair. I had to fight pain, fight depression, fight isolation. There were nights I cried myself to sleep, mornings I didn’t want to wake up. But through it all, God held me. He carried me when I couldn’t carry myself,” she added.

However, none of that deterred her from pursuing her educational dreams. Instead, it motivated her to work even harder.

Her efforts paid off when she finally graduated from Kenya College of Accountancy (KCA) University.
