Social media reactions

Murage Ndung'u

"The first step is to go to the cyber cafe and confirm whether that is a genuine registration. After that, you can also get the owner's contact on E-Citizen."

Dan Warigia

"It was very unwise for the lady to follow it up to the road. She could have been knocked by another incoming vehicle and died."

Polyn Jemie

"That lady attendant took a risky move, what if she had fallen? Taking the registration number and reporting to the police was the safest thing."

Husband pays wife's petrol station bill

In an earlier incident, a motorist driving a Toyota Land Cruiser sped off after fuelling, leaving the attendant helpless with a KSh 22,472 bill.

The vehicle registration number went viral after it was shared on social media, prompting the woman's husband to visit the station and intervene.

Embarassed, the man paid KSh 20,000 to Shell Windsor Service Station and promised to clear the balance.
