The young woman, using the name Miss Ivy Bee on TikTok, shared a screenshot of her conversation with the teacher, leaving netizens with mixed reactions.
Ivy noted that she was going through her direct messages on the short-video mobile application when she came across the former teacher’s messages.
“POV: You look at your DMs and find your high school teacher. Aaaah abeg,” she captioned the video.
What did Vihiga teacher say?
In the messages, the teacher—who taught her at Keveye Girls’ High School in Vihiga county—first reached out to her on June 11, asking her to plan something with him.
A few days later, he sent greetings after Ivy failed to respond to the first text.
However, this time round, the young woman responded—only for him to send a long message asking why she did not want to talk to him.
“Since you left Keveye, you do not want to talk to us? Or what could be happening? Send me your phone number,” his text read.
Stunned by the message, Ivy shared the screenshot with her followers online, sparking widespread reactions, especially from Keveye Girls’ alumni who tried guessing the identity of the teacher.

Alliance Girls teacher exposed for preying on students
This comes against the background of the exposé of an Alliance High School teacher accused of preying on his students who were studying at the school.
In a statement from the Alliance Girls alumni association, the teacher, Peter Oyiro, was exposed as having pursued students for romantic favours despite him also being the Christian Union patron.
"We are reliably informed by the Alliance Girls’ High School (AGHS) administration that Mr. Peter Ayiro is currently not rostered to teach or perform duties at the school, and that an interdiction process has been initiated at the Teachers’ Service Commission (TSC)," the alumni's statement indicated earlier this month.
The alumni also hired a legal firm to ensure the matter was being expedited to bring the accused teacher to book.
"Zahra Legal Firm has, on behalf of the AGAA and all AGHS Alumnae, delivered today (July 7, 2025) two Demand Letters as follows: To the AGHS Board of Management, requesting that: The school formally reports the matter to the Teachers Service Commission (TSC), calling explicitly for: the interdiction of Mr. Peter Ayiro in line with TSC disciplinary procedure and a comprehensive and impartial investigation into his professional conduct," the statement indicated.
