What did Presenter Kai do to viral Meru couple?
In a video shared by Murume TV Updates, Eunice and Godfrey claimed Presenter Kai had posted on social media that he was looking for them.

However, after locating them and discovering they were in Meru, the couple said he ghosted them.
In the clip, the two were seen agreeing with Murume, who was speaking on their behalf.
They nodded along, Eunice gave a thumbs-up, while Godfrey emphasised what the speaker was saying.
“Presenter Kai, you said you were looking for this couple, but you have failed to be straightforward with them. Please, if you truly want to help them, help – and if you don’t, then it’s also not a must,” Murume said.
He further accused the YouTuber of chasing clout using the couple’s name, despite not following through when he found them.
“I know it’s out of willingness to help, but since you kept looking for them, we thought you had something special planned. We were wrong,” he added, as Godfrey responded with a “Thank you.”
Did Presenter Kai respond to Meru couple?
In a quick rejoinder, Kai explained what had transpired, adding that he had spoken to Godfrey, who is yet to officially wed his partner.
The YouTuber said it was difficult to offer a treat to the couple since they are not yet married.
“Bwana harusi mtarajiwa, come to my inbox and let’s talk. Even you came to my inbox asking me to treat the couple, but I asked myself, if they are not officially married, how do I begin giving them a treat or taking them somewhere to enjoy themselves? I listened to the guy and gave him my advice as well. Helping people doesn’t always mean giving money or taking them places, even advice is valuable,” said Kai.
He also urged Murume to support the couple in his own way, noting that Godfrey had said his main challenge was financing the wedding.

How did Meru Couple go viral?
The lovebirds, dressed in matching African attire, stood side by side in the viral photo, each looking in a different direction with visibly sad expressions.
While some netizens appreciated their outfits, others noticed their body language and facial expressions, which seemed unusual for a newly married couple.
Many speculated that they were being forced into marriage or that they were unhappy with the union.
However, the couple later explained their situation, noting that they were very happy to be together.
They said the photographer failed to guide them on how to pose and that they were actually in a prayerful mood during the shoot, which explained their sombre expressions.
