Dorothy, in a TikTok video, claimed that her best friend handed a handwritten note to her accommodation manager in an attempt to get her dismissed.
What did Dorothy’s friend tell her boss in Qatar?
The note revealed a personal matter Dorothy had kept secret—she was pregnant and planning to resign voluntarily.

“Dorothy is pregnant, that is why she is going home. She is also lazy at work,” the note reportedly read.
However, the plan didn’t succeed. Dorothy said the accommodation manager chose to keep her secret and allowed her to resign honourably.
She had already given notice to her employer about her intention to return to Kenya, and any premature exposure of her situation could have jeopardised her contract.
Was Dorothy paid her dues in Qatar?
Despite her pregnancy, she managed to keep it hidden until the day of her resignation and confirmed that she received all her dues.
“Thanks to my accommodation manager for keeping this a secret and letting me work until the last day. This is after my then-friend tried to set me up,” she said.
“I received the full amount of my end-of-service benefits with zero deductions, got my ticket, landed home safely and I’m well taken care of. Oh, and I’m loved by my baby daddy. I hope you’re safe there, though,” she added.
In a follow-up clip, Dorothy advised women working in Qatar to be cautious when forming friendships. She claimed that many relationships among women there were not genuine and warned that jealousy often stemmed from those with children targeting those without.

“Since I’m not going back to Qatar any time soon, let me say this: in Qatar, there are neither genuine relationships nor friendships especially among women,” she said.

“I worked for seven months without them knowing I was pregnant, but one Ugandan lady spread the news to everyone in the accommodation. I went home, gave birth, and now six months later I’m back on the job. But I cry every day, leaving a 3-month-old baby behind is not easy.”
Imani:
“Congratulations, girl. You look so good. Wishing you a safe delivery, and may God’s protection be upon you and your baby. You are loved.”
Destined for Greatness:
“Congratulations. A Kenyan I trusted also went and told the supervisors I was pregnant. They threatened to call Alfazaah on me, but I told them they were too late.”
