Milam Milz Errands explained that she had arranged the party at a hotel within the capital city, expecting the guests to arrive at 3 pm.
Her clients wanted to surprise their mother, but no one showed up.
Time passed, and when it reached 8 pm on Saturday, 9 August, she tried to call but their phones were switched off, leaving her in a panic.
“I organised this birthday surprise for a client’s mum; they were supposed to be there at 3 pm. It’s almost 8 pm, and the hotel called to tell me they haven’t arrived. The contact numbers I have are all off,” she stated.
Did Milam Milz organise birthday dinner?
She shared images of the beautiful birthday dinner set-up featuring a round table that could accommodate up to 11 people, well set and ready.
The theme for the dinner was black and yellow, which looked perfect for the evening. The environment seemed quiet and serene, ideal for family moments.
Nearby was a table holding the buffet, all ready and prepared for the birthday girl and her children.
Unable to reach her clients by phone, Milam posted on social media, hoping to get in touch with them and confirm they were safe.
“Kindly, if you are the one or know them, please reach out. I bumped into you at Kingstone yesterday. I am more worried about your safety.”

Why were Milam’s clients’ phones off?
Fortunately, the client contacted the Nairobi businesswoman the next day, 10 August, explaining what had happened.
“I just got in touch with my clients for the birthday; they are all fine. They had gone out, and their phones went off,” she shared.
She also explained that there had been a miscommunication about the birthday date, which was supposed to be on Sunday, 10 August, and not Saturday, 9 August, as Milam had thought.
“I am in touch with the restaurant to see how to proceed. I hope everything will be fine,” she added.

Why did TikToker expose fake friends on her birthday?
TUKO.co.ke reported that a young woman called out her friends on TikTok for failing to show up for her birthday party.
The lady, using the username @blackculturenews on TikTok, said she invited all 13 of her friends for her big day, but only two showed up.
Social media users advised her to cut off the many friends who didn’t come and focus on the two who attended her birthday.
