Lady Flies Back Home With Nothing after 3 Years Abroad: "I Feel Like I Failed My Parents"

A young lady, @lifesylecreator, has lamented her situation after relocating to Nigeria with nothing following her three-year stay abroad.

In a TikTok video, the Nigerian lady shared her story, fears, and struggles.
Abroad returnee feels she failed her parents
The lady, 27, said she feels like she has failed her parents and herself. She added that she feels like nothing seems to be working out for her and that everyone seems to be ahead of her in life.

The abroad returnee, who shared her story via a voice-over, said it was depressing to return to Nigeria with nothing when her mates had married and had children, while she was yet to even have a boyfriend.
"I feel like I failed my parents, myself. I feel like everything seems not to be working. I feel like they have all left me behind.
"After travelling abroad for three years, coming back home with nothing is so depressing. I feel like that would save me but here I am starting all over from square one. All my mates are married, they are with their children. I don't even have a boyfriend not to talk of marriage.
"Starting all over again with no help from anybody, I have no friends. My friends are far, far ahead of me..."
She encouraged anyone in a similar situation to her not to give up.
"I feel like giving up, but I won't give up. I am strong. Yeah, I know I am strong. I know I am not the only one in this.
"So, if you are going through one or two things out there, I just want to tell you to be strong. Yeah, you are going to stand up one day. You are going to make it one day.
"At the end of the day, everything would make sense. So, just be strong and don't give up. Right here, I am not giving up.
"I know it is going to be worth it one day. Just don't give up."

Lady relocates to Nigeria from Finland
Meanwhile, it was previously reported that a lady had relocated to Nigeria after one year in Finland.
She explained that it was really difficult living far away from family and friends, as she was lonely and cried every day.
She said she missed seeing familiar faces in Nigeria and food that reminded her of her childhood. The Nigerian lady added that she missed Nigeria's weather, meals and communal living.
